Inktober 2019 Retrospective | Day 21: Hmm...

That is one of the best hands I've ever drawn.

Another of these silhouette women. I'm rather fond of them. They look so peaceful. They've all had interesting headwraps thus far. Most of them have been traditional, and while I have no clue how far back this design goes, this one was more of a modern chic look. I'm not... entirely sure that's how the bun is supposed to turn out, but the intent is clear enough.

Really not much to say about this one in particular, though I will say this exemplifies what I wanted to create with these silhouette women. I usually go for expansive, cartoonish gestures when I draw, but for these characters, I wanted to go for subtler, feminine, somewhat more introspective gestures. With a heavy focus on hand gestures, of course. It's not a mentality or physical presence I explore often, but it's interesting to dive into it and see what I resurface with.
