All these little kiddies here are Brazilian. Brazil is one of the most diverse places around. I already incorporate various peoples in my work, but I wanted to make an effort to emphasize that.

However, the point of the image was to have a sea of highly similar colors with Gretchen's hair standing out. That would require, as I saw it, that all the colors have a distinct reddish undertone. The skin would also need to be similar, although less so, in value. As much as I like the various undertones and colors of the more naturalistic first one, the second one serves my purpose much better. So there it is.

Some of the values still echo the first one, I suppose. Sort of wish I'd left a bit more, really. Ahh, well. Thanks for reading.
