You know, it's funny. "Clubbing," "dealer," the fact that Jay gets sick of spending so much money. If you just heard that, you might think she and Sheriff were hitting up a club to score some drugs.
I was thinking the other day. More specifically, yesterday. How on Earth do they, professional comic artists, do it? How do they produce so much? Yeah, not all artists have to produce so much so quickly, but as I have a channel for which I'd like to produce comic strips for, I would certainly like to be faster than I am. It's not just that. They're bloody good, too. I've gotten better. I think, anyway. But not as good as I'd like to be.
"You Found a POTION!" was created, drafted, completed, and all the rest in about a week, and I still think it's rather good, but... I dunno.
Of course, that's not entirely fair to me, I suppose. The artists I'm thinking about are apparently just pencillers. I'm the conceptual artist, the writer, the thumbnailler, the penciler, the inker, the flats guy, the colorist, the final editor, the video editor, and the publicist. I'm also the one who came up with these characters. I'm doing plenty. But still... They pencil multiple pages in a day. Pages from God only knows how many various properties...
I suppose it's only a matter of time before I can achieve the speed and ability I wish for. Eh, what're you gonna do...?
