Several inked panels from that heavy-push oneshot comic, "You Found a POTION!"
The funny thing is I am, in fact, a fistful of days ahead of schedule, and I actually like the plain inked lines quite a bit more. Maybe I'm just inexperienced in the realm of hues, but color seemed to muck everything up...
I don't know what I did differently, I don't know what was going on, but some way, somehow, the linework came out so much smoother and so much narrower than it typically does. I used a different brush this time around, and it may utilize brush stabilizers or something, but jeez. It came out very well. I am quite happy with the lineart here~
One of my initial fears with Sheriff's more cartoony design (and really, his design in general) was that I wouldn't be able to manipulate his body around for interesting poses. He's so... big. Would his chest and apparent lack of neck get in the way? Wouldn't seem so. He can lean over, twist his body in humorous poses, and have an energy to his physical being. Would his more rigid facial design impede his ability to emote? Apparently not. He can adequately communicate disgust, surprise, and intrigue. It would seem I had little to worry about. And his hair is still fab.
