Two More Days

Two days left, and these are the last four panels.
I was actually able to finish these earlier this morning. Most recently, I've been going back and doing further editing of the panels. Thank God I've gotten ahead. I have all of the rest of today to finish, and I'm almost half way done with the final editing. Mostly things to improve ambience, fix glaring issues, add things that may be missing, etc.
The odd thing is despite how much more complicated the thing is than "A Simple Escort Mission," far more things can be left "unfixed," so to speak. Little issues here and there sort of get lost in translation, things that could be better aren't imperative for me to improve, given the time I have, and a lot can just be left alone. With the other comic, the fidelity hung very much on how similar, if not identical, every frame was to the next and the one before it. It is a bit of a relief but still a bit of a bear since so there are so many moving parts. Even now, I see parts I wish I could just streamline out of the whole thing, but there's just no time for any of it.
I am never leaving something this close to the wire again...
In other news, I ordered a game I've been wanting for a bit: Miitopia. I've always loved the sort of idle/zero player games that have been cropping up over the past several years. They not only feed that need to have something happening even when I'm not specifically involved, they also, at least in my case, tend to give me ideas about story direction, new characters, and whatnot. I've gotten plot lines from Tomodachi Life and created entire characters I still use today based on experiences playing The Sims 3 and 4. Really not sure how, but there you go.
That tangent aside, said game, Miitopia, arrived in the mail. But I'm not going to start it until my break starts. I don't want to lose time, and I have a feeling it's going to be a game I wanna just sit down and watch for a long, long time.
Two more days 'til my break... Might as well say "two days left until retirement" 'cause I know I'm gonna get eaten by a velociraptor or something before Monday...
