We City Folk: Boy 6 Lineart - WIP

This boy was very easy to design a pose around. Old-fashioned, serious, literally upright.

This was one of the better linearts to come out of this series. For whatever reason, though I've always preferred the look of the lineart with the pencils showing through. The final inks still have that crisp, starkly black and - shockingly - final look to them, but the pencils still have that rough look, that look of being alive. And with those extra, less obtrusive lines, they almost serve the purpose of making the ink lines like the pencil lines in that they make the former seem less static.

Plus, as an artist, I like seeing the construction and process of how artists do their whatever.
